Chemical Decontamination

Chemical decontamination is a process that can clean and degas hydrocarbon systems by de-oiling/degreasing, eliminating LEL, H2S and pyrophoric materials. The process and chemistry are designed to be environmental friendly as well as posing no corrosion threats to the system metallurgy.

Gates has strategic alliance with local chemical processing/manufacturing company REDA. Decontamination solvent is having neutral pH and also biodegradable. Our process cuts down the steaming duration to half chemical treatment will not only help to make the man entry possible in 24-12 hours but also will help the workers to go ahead with the mechanical works straightaway. This is due to the clean system (no slipping hazards) and no breathing apparatus required (Zero LEL, No H2S, and No Benzene).

The products removed from the process systems are reusable and will not have any chemical contamination caused by our blended chemical. Some additional benefits are listed below:
